Vineyard Church Identity  ::

Selecting the final version of a logo is usually one of the most difficult parts of the logo design process. The head pastor and associate pastor at the Vineyard have totally opposite viewpoints when it comes to visual aesthetics. That is why I was shocked when, out of the six designs I presented, they both picked the same one. I figured it must be a sign.

The new identity was set to conicide with the opening of their new building. For the official color palette I used colors from the design of the new building. These colors are used on signs, giving envelopes, letterheads, and business cards. In all other instances, the logo takes on the colors of that program or event. Sometimes it may be blue and yellow and, at other times, red and black. This helps keep the logo looking fresh and also complements the whimsical nature of the design elements.
