NCSA 20 year History Timeline ::

NCSA has a long, rich history in scientific research enabled by high-performance computing. The goal of this project was to pull together some of the best highlights of the past 20 years into a cohesive, interactive, engaging presentation.

The top portion scrolls dynamically left and right as the viewer moves his mouse back and forth. When links are clicked the individual entries are loaded into the bottom portion of the layout.

With over 100 entries and the top scroll section, it was necesary for me to write quite a lot of actionscript to control functionality of the entries and scrollbar dynamically. I think I am more proud of the code I wrote than the design on this particular project.
