NCSA Access Online  ::

NCSA publishes a bi-monthly online newsletter called Access Online. The lead story focuses on the breakthroughs scientists are making by using NCSA supercomputers.

Instead of a regular, undesigned news story, each of these articles is given its own special design treatment. Within the visual layout, each story maintain a similar navigation and content system to allow easy access to the stories for returning readers.

More often than not, I get nice images to work with, but occasionally I must create my own. The images in the first two stories shown here are illustrations I created for each article. Because of NCSA's "high-tech" nature, I always have exciting aesthetic options when creating these types of illustrations.
