Courier Typebook  ::

For this project I took one of the most conventional typefaces, Courier, and did the most unconventional things I could think of with the typeface and page layout. On most pages the type is handled more as image than as type. One of the project goals was to get people excited about using the typeface I selected. It certainly had this effect on me. After this project, I used Courier a number of times in places I would never have thought to use it before. It reminds me of quote from Professor Doyle Moore. "There are no bad typefaces only bad uses." Any typeface can be appropriate giving the right circumstances.
