This logo was created for an internet site that helps families save money on groceries each week by displaying the sales and coupons at their local grocery stores.
An emphasis on fast, fun, and easy were requirements for the logo. In addition the client wanted a logo in which the image and type could function equally well together or individually. Here are two iterations of them together. Grocery carts are very cliche, but as I explored alternatives, I kept coming back to the cart. Through the visual style of the cart I could best communicate all the main requirements of the logo. For the logotype I picked a slightly campy typeface that looks like something you might find on an aisle sign or some sort of packaging at the grocery store.
